ink on paper in recycled and painted wood frames, various sizes

Reminiscent of 19th century silhouettes, the Somebodies drawings honor and poke fun at traditions of portraiture. Decorative frames (scavenged from thrift shops, yard sales, attics and basements) add to the formality, but painted white, take on a ghostly sense of a disappearing tradition.
